The Business:

The Y, in Y-Internet Marketing, stands for Why (obviously). Why? Has become the major motivation behind the development of this website. Internet Marketing (including affiliate marketing) has become a multi billion dollar industry and is showing no sign of slowing. Internet marketing has been around since the inception of the World Wide Web, but certain factors have increased its popularity in recent years. So, the question begs to be asked: Why has Internet Marketing taken over as one of the primary advertising methods utilized by every major corporation in the world? What is it about Internet Marketing that makes it reign supreme in the marketing world today? Maybe the most important question of all: How does Internet Marketing work?

The goal of y-affiliate marketing.com is to remove the advertising fluff and junk from Internet/affiliate marketing and create a site that provides honest information for companies, brand sellers, affiliates and anyone else interested Internet marketing.

Personal:

I have been dabbling in the affiliate marketing sector of Internet Marketing for nearly 10 years now. This journey has taken me on a roller coaster ride of emotions. I have experienced, on numerous occasions, the joy/pain, excitement/disgust, financial pros and financial woes affiliate marketing (Internet marketing) can bring. In the beginning, I thought I could utilize affiliate marketing strategies developed by other individuals to better my financial situation, only to discover, many affiliate marketers are strictly in the Internet marketing industry for the money. I have fallen prey to multiple, black-hat, marketers and marketing strategies in my day. These black-hat marketers develop products or services with the sole purpose of selling another product only to better their financial situation. And the vicious cycle begins. I can’t even count the number of scams I have run across during my Internet marketing journey, which has frustrated me to no end. Realizing this, I have decided to create a site that will provide, free advice and Internet marketing information. By no means do I claim to know everything there is about Internet marketing, but I do feel I can provide some reasonably valuable information on the topic, which may help you on your marketing journey.

I have set out to lay down a solid foundation, which will work for most/any affiliate/Internet marketer and can be utilized easily by seasoned as well as newbie marketers and I do this all for free. I will not personally charge you for any of the material found on this site. The ideas and information found on this site are and always will be a direct result of my personal Internet marketing journey and should not be misconstrued as anything but my own feelings and thoughts. Keep in mind that the Internet and marketing strategies are constantly changing. Although, I will try to stay on top of the current trends, remember that all marketing campaigns need to be tailored to fit your situational needs.
