Let me clear the air before I get started with blogging motivation and the crash. First, if you are a blogger looking to make a living online, let me tell you, IT IS DIFFICULT. Despite all the marketing ploys and get rich schemes, it really isn’t that easy. Second, if you are looking to make some money from blogging, this post is for you. If you are an avid blogger and you blog because you love to write, this post may or may not be for you. Lastly, if you are looking to get rich quick, then you might want to move on the the next marketing scam. Now on with the good stuff.

Blogging can be tedious, time consuming and down right frustrating, especially if you don’t have the right motivation. If you focus your attention on earning quick blogging profits and lose sight of what blogging is all about, you are sure to fail. Sorry, but its the truth! Many blogs crash and burn within a few months some even sooner. But, when it comes to blogging success, it takes time. The irony is, most new bloggers are not willing to sacrifice their time on the front end (which maybe a year or more) to reap the benefits in the long run. Setting appropriate blogging goals, gaining knowledge on your blogging journey and staying focused are three of the most important things any new blogger should learn.

Blogging Motivation and Tips:

1. Don’t try to be something your not! Many bloggers, especially those blogging for profits, often times try to create blogs which focus on profitable niches. More often than not, these bloggers are not knowledgeable on the topic and thus end up losing the motivation needed to keep them going. It’s much easier to create an informative from the heart blog centered on topics you enjoy. Remember, if you lose interest in your blog you will never earn a dime, even if it was a profitable niche. Blog for the long-term and blog because you love it.

2. Don’t compete! Just be you… Many bloggers focus on what other individuals are doing (I’m not saying this is all bad), the money they are making (at least claim to be making), the way their blogs look and more. Just be yourself and keep your blog pure. You will gain more readership over time if you focus your attention on topics you are interested in and focus your energy on being you. After all, reading regurgitated garbage is a major turn off.

3. Stick to it! Making money from your blog doesn’t happen over night and may not happen after six months or even a year. Building a solid foundation and learning along the way are the quickest ways to success.

4. Continue your blogging education! If you want to become a successful blogger you need to try your best to keep up with new blogging techniques and strategies.

4. It is possible! Yes, you can earn money from your blog, but you need to keep focused and keep rolling on and avoid the blogging crash.
