Call to Action
A call to action entices the consumer to move closer to purchasing a product, signing up for a service or submitting vital marketing information (name, e-mail, phone numbers etc.). A call to action statement can be as simple as ‘Click Here,’ or as complex as ‘download your free trial now.’ Both statements call upon the potential consumer to take action, but one of these call to action statements will entice more consumers. Providing visitors with something for free or discounted will definitely create more customer motivation than a simple statement like ‘Click Here.’ Learning how to offer you visitors an enticement or creating a sense of urgency is vital in the development of a successful marketing campaign.

The best call to action statements achieve two goals: First, they provide some incentive for consumers to take action. Second, the call to action statement fits in with content of an article or sales pitch. Adding in-line text links to your website/blog can greatly increase your sales. Articles, if written correctly, will draw a reader in. Once they reach a text link their curiosity should peak and hopefully evoke their desire to move forward.
